Long awaited for fans of the San Diego underground, Pedalay the Boss finally drops Voodoo! Taking a step back from the post-apocalyptic tone on the Infinity Gauntlet produced War Journals EP released in 2008, here Pedalay takes on most of the producing duties himself alongside Shaun Lo for a lot more laid back sound over stripped down beats and loops revealing his more vulnerable self: James Robinson. Taking aim through his verbal scope against fake thugs (some of 'em local) who walk tall on their CD's but don't live the life they write down on paper, while lifting his head to the future with a more positive outlook, because even in these shittier times we still need to be able to kick back and leave our stress at the door when we head to our day to day jobs and back home to our families.
